Delete your account & data
You can delete your FrenWhere account and the data associated with it at any time. Here is how.
Delete from within the app
- Open the FrenWhere app and go to your Profile.
- Choose Delete account and confirm with your password.
- Your account is deleted and your data is removed or anonymized immediately.
Delete by request
No longer have the app installed? Email privacy@frenwhere.com from the email address linked to your account and request deletion. We will verify the request and confirm once it is completed.
What gets deleted
- Your account and profile (email, display name, avatar).
- Your group memberships and invites.
- Your current location data and sharing settings.
- Your devices and push notification tokens.
What may be retained
Minimal, non-location records may be retained where legally required (for example security audit events related to abuse reports), always without precise location data and according to our documented retention policy.
