Safety & abuse reporting
FrenWhere is for finding people who want to be found. We treat stalking and abuse as a first-class threat and design against it.
Built-in protections
- Consent-first sharing: nobody can see your location unless you explicitly enabled sharing for their group.
- One-tap pause: stop sharing instantly, at any moment.
- Block: blocking a user immediately revokes their access to your location and prevents further contact.
- Leave a group: leaving instantly removes your location from that group.
- Visible sharing state: the app always shows clearly when sharing is active — it can never be hidden.
If someone is using FrenWhere to harass, stalk or intimidate you — or you see any other misuse — report it to safety@frenwhere.com. Include the display name of the account and what happened. We investigate all reports and can suspend accounts that violate our Terms of Service.
If you are in danger
If you are in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first (112 in the EU, 911 in the US). FrenWhere is not an emergency service.
